A couple days ago, Chucklebutt and I rented two movies. One was The Day the Earth Stood Still (Klaatu baada nikto!) the other was Let the Right One In — touted as “the best vampire movie ever.” So, that byline is a bit misleading. It should read something like, “the best vampire movie to ever [...] I can’t believe it’s almost May! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun — even when you’re not having fun. Chucklebutt and I are finally theatre free until the fall. It’s nice having our afternoons all to ourselves. I came home today to a pretty gruesome site — a disemboweled bunny. Yuck! Apparently a [...] Many years ago, when I was a senior in high school, I performed a monologue from the final scene of Thorton Wilder’s Our Town. “It goes so fast. We don’t have time to look at one another. I didn’t realize. So all that was going on and we never noticed. Good-bye to clocks ticking….and Mama’s [...] At the beginning of every rehearsal, I have my students do a check-in. I learned this little gem from the awesomness that is “Cornerstone Theatre.” If you don’t know Cornerstone, it is the closest thing we have to a national theatre in this country. They are amazing and do amazing work. (Here’s a shout out [...] On Monday, my residents and I took a trip to the end of the light rail. We voted on the massive project back in 2004 (the year Chucklebutt and I moved to hell) and lots of folks said it would never work.
